COREWEEKLY Thanks Madison
coreweekly throws Block Rock ’n’ Beats party to celebrate
1-year anniversary. MADISON—August
11, 2005—To say thanks to Madison for a great first year, coreweekly
holds its Block Rock ’n’ Beats party Sept. 17 (rain date
Sept. 18) from noon-8:30 p.m. on the 100 block of East Mifflin just
off the Capitol Square. Smart Motors, Scion, Decks and Effects and
Café Montmartre sponsor the event to celebrate coreweekly’s
1-year anniversary.
Bands
will rock out through the day with performances by Minneapolis’
Bridge Club and Madison favorites The Rob Dz Experience, Transformer
Lootbag, Awesome Car Funmaker, The Crest, Droids Attack and If Then
Else. DJs Montra & Jeremy Thomas provide the bumping beats for
the block party in between band sets.
Four
outdoor cafés offer full bar services and plenty of food and
product vendors will keep guests full and busy. Additionally, the first
500 people will receive gift bags filled with goodies from local businesses.
